Geography

Location


The municipality is located in the Metropolitan Region of Curitiba, with limits: Pinhais and Piraquara north; Tijucas South south; Morretes Guaratuba the east, Curitiba, Rio Grande and Farm Mandirituba west. Its headquarters is marked by the following coordinates: 25 ° 32'06 "south latitude and 49 º 12'21" of longitude west of Greenwich, linking the state capital, through the BR-376 a journey of 7 miles.

Weather


São José dos Pinhais has a humid subtropical climate. The average annual temperature of 16 ° C, being a city a little cooler than Curitiba.

Geographical accidents
