Sao Jose dos Pinhais

São José dos Pinhais is a municipality of the Brazilian state of Parana, located in the Greater Curitiba. It is located at 25 ° 32'05 "south latitude and 49 º 12'23" west longitude.

The creation of the municipality of São José dos Pinhais made by Law No. 10 of the then province of São Paulo, on July 16, 1852, which specified that the seat of the municipality was called Villa de San Jose dos Pinhais, which the political establishment, with the installation of the House of Councilors occurred on January 8, 1853. On December 27, 1897, the town was finally elevated to the rank of city.
